American Single Malt Golden Promise (46% ABV)
A new category in American craft distilling with no limitations, paving an endless open road for noteworthy mash bills. Our quarter cask Single Malt Release Number Two is blend of small & large oak barrels made from 100% Golden Promise barley but aged for 3 1/2 to 4 years like a bourbon in our New American Oak Char #3 barrels. By doing this, it enables heavy woody notes from the barrel to coalesce with the flavor of the malt. In line with our sense of adventure, we journeyed deep into the tail cut to capture the boldest of flavor & achieve a heart of hearts whiskey!
Tasting Notes: Strong nose of grain, heavy barrel, wood. Finishing on the pallet with oak, caramel, vanilla, earthy, roasty essence.
Cocktail Recommendations: This deserves to be enjoyed by itself or with a cube of ice but if you really want to experience it in a cocktail, an Old Fashioned.
